The club was founded in 1959 to train and support lifeguards for the community beaches.Affiliated to Surf Life Saving GB, we continue to provide weekly ocean life saving coaching and physical fitness sessions for participants from the age of 7 to 70 (ish!). Club training sessions are structured to help participants develop and maintain the skills and physical capabilities required.
